Dubai Health Authority (DHA) conducts licensing exam for Medical Professionals with appropriate skills and qualifications to guarantee the high quality of health care services and the safety of the population in the Emirate of Dubai. DHA issues professional license exam for all Medical Professionals. Like NCLEX and CRNE, DHA exam is also a computer-based one. There are no interviews. The examination consists of different aspects of the medical profession such as Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical & Surgical, OBG, Oncology and Pharmacology.
The Department Of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) is accountable for regulating the practice of Medical Professionals in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. A system of licensing and examination is established to ensure Medical Professionals are secure to practice within the guidelines as set by the DOH Policy and Regulation Directorate. The exam is conducted by the Ministry of Health UAE. It is a medical license exam that is conducted for appointing health care professionals who can work at different health care centers all over UAE. The candidate has to have a Diploma or a Degree in nursing from a recognized college or university and registration from their home country in order to attend or sit for the MOH exam. The person also should have a minimum of five months post as well as registration experience. All the candidates who pass the MOH Exam will be qualified to work in all the five Emirates except Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
